Kfb = knit into front and back of stich - increasing one st.

K2tog = knit 2 stitches together

P2tog = purl 2 stitches together

Instructions

Leave about 10" of yarn tail to sew up sides when finished.

CO 36

Row 1: k2, p2 to end.

Row 2: k2, p2 to end.

Row 3 : same as 1

Row 4 : same as 2

Row 5 : Kfb, k to last st, kfb.

Row 6 : k1, purl to last st, k1.

Row 7 : k1, *(k2tog) 3 times, (yo, k1) 6 times, (k2tog) 3 times, rep from * to last st,

k1.

Row 8 : knit all st.

Row 10 : k1, purl to last st, k1.

Row 11 : k1, *(k2tog) 3 times, (yo, k1) 6 times, (k2tog) 3 times, rep from * to last st,

k1.

Row 12 : knit all sts.

Repeat rows 9 - 12 til piece measures 7" from CO or desired length.

Row 1 : Knit all sts.

Row 2 : k1, p to last st, k1.

Row 3: k2tog, k1, p2, *k2, p2 *to last 3 sts, p1, p2tog.

Row 4: k2, p2 to end.

Row 5 : k2, p2 to end.

Row 6 : k2, p2 to end.

BO - knit the knit sts, purl the purl sts.

Finishing

Using mattress stitch, sew up ends with wrong sides facing each other.

Sew sides together to make arm holes leaving about 2" arm hole.

Weave in ends.
