Inspired Scarf Knitting Pattern
Inspired Scarf

Yarn Used :
bits and pieces of left over yarn
I used any and all of my yarns, from bulky weight to finger weight!
Needles:
US Size 10 1/2
but any size needle can be used
just remember the smaller the needle, the tighter the stitch
bigger the needle, looser the stitch
Notions :
Row Counter if needed
Yarn Needle or crochet hook
Gauge : Not Important really
Abbreviations :
K = Knit
P = Purl
CO = Cast On
BO = Bind Off
YO = yarn over
k3tog = knit 3 stitches together
TS (Twisty St) = wrap yarn around both needles then around just the right needle
Pattern Instructions
Notes : You can start with either pattern, I started with the Twisty St. pattern and finished with the Box St. pattern. The twisty st pattern can be used with any number of sts, but the Box St. pattern is a mult. of 6 + 5 sts. Then just changed back and forth from each one.
CO 29
OR mult. of 6 + 5.
Twisty Stitch Pattern
Row 1 : TS to end,
Row 2 : knit all sts.
Rep these two rows 3 times.
Then
Box Stitch Pattern
Row 1 (RS) : k1, p3, *k3, p3; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 2 : p1, k3, *p3, k3 rep from * to last st, p1.
Row 3 : k1, yo, k3tog, yo, * k3, yo, k3tog, yo rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 4 : purl all sts.
Row 5 : k4, p3, *k3, p3 rep from * to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 6 : p4, k3, *p3, k3 rep from * to last 4 sts, p4.
Row 7 : k4, yo, k3tog, yo *k3, yo, k3tog, yo rep from * to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 8 : purl all sts.
Rep these 8 rows just once,
Then do the 2 row pattern, then the 8 row pattern and so on...
Rep these 2 patterns for desired length of scarf.
Finishing
Weave in all those ends. (it's not as bad as it looks
Then add 8 tassels to each end with 6 pieces at 19" long,
- fold in half and place on the BO and CO edges
