Yarn Used :

1 ball of any worsted weight yarn should make two boot cuffs

worsted weight 10 ply or aran weight 10 ply

170 yards or less

 

Needles:

US Size 9

 

Gauge :

7 sts in 2" x 7sts in 2"

But gauge really is not that important!

 

Notions :

Cable Needle or DPN

Yarn Needle

Row Counter

 

Abbreviations :

DPN = double pointed needle

K = Knit

P = Purl

CO = Cast On

BO = Bind Off

st = stitch

C4F = Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold at front of work, k2, k2 from cable needle

C4B = Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold at back of work, k2, k2 from cable needle

 

Pattern Instructions

 

Size :  you can custom size them by repeating Rows 1 - 6.

 

CO 30

 

Row 1 : k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, p2, k8, p2, *k1, p1 to last st*, k1.

Row 2 : *k1, p1 repeat 5 times* k3, p8, k2, k1, p1, k1, p1, k1.

Row 3 : Same as row 1

Row 4 : Same as row 2

Row 5 :  k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, p2, C4F, C4B, p2, *k1, p1 to last st*, k1.

Row 6 : Same as row 2.

Repeat these 6 rows or desired length to go around leg/calf.

Sew up send with wrong sides facing each other.

Weave in ends.

Make another boot cuff!
