Pattern Instructions

Note :

The easy way to do this bag (and explain it) is place st markers before and after each cable pat. You need 2 row counter because you need one for the 9-stitch cable pattern and one for the giant braid cable pattern. I used two different colors. I wrote down next to pattern the color used, so I didn't forget which went with which cable pattern. For example: blue with 9-st cable pat. and red with giant braid cable pat. It's really rather easy once you get the hang of it. The bag/cables are done on reverse St. st.

The cables are separated by 8 sts, except beginning and end.

So, pattern would go like this :

(RS) p9, PM, 9-St. cable pat, PM, p8, PM, giant braid cable pat, PM, p8, 9-St cable pat, PM, p9.

(WS) k9, PM, 9-St. cable pat, PM, k8, PM, giant braid cable pat, PM, k8, PM, 9-St. cable pat, PM, k9.

CO 70

This cable pat. is done twice, one on each side of the giant cable.
