Abbreviations :

K = Knit

P = Purl

CO = Cast On

BO = Bind Off

yo = yarn over

k2tog = knit 2 sts together

p2tog = purl 2 sts together

 

 

Notes : Pretty snug fit on coffee cup.

 

 

Pattern Instructions

 

CO 19

 

Row 1 : K all sts

Row 2 : K1, * p2tog  without slipping sts off needle, then k tog the same 2 sts; rep from * to end.

Row 3 : K all sts

Row 4 : *P2tog  without slipping sts off needle, then k tog the same 2 sts; rep from * to last st, k1.

Row 5 : K4, yo, k2tog, k8, yo, k2tog, k3.

Row 6 : same as row 2

Row 7 : K all sts

Row 8 : same as row 4

 

Rep these 8 rows 5 times

 

BO.

 

Finishing

 

Sew cast on and bind off edges together.

 

Run ribbon through small holes, tie in a bow after you have fitted on coffee cup.
