190 yards or less of your choice of super bulky yarn

US Size 15 / 10 mm Knitting Needles

Tapestry Needle

2 - 1" Buttons

 

Abbreviations :

K = Knit

P = Purl

CO = Cast On

BO = Bind Off

WS = wrong side

RS = right side

yo = Yarn Over

RS = right side

WS = wrong side

K2tog = knit 2 stitches together

 

 

Pattern Instructions

 

CO 15

Even rows(WS) - Row 1 - Knit all sts.

Odd rows(RS) - Row 2 - *k1, p1 ; rep from * to last st, k1.

Repeat these 2 rows til piece measures 20" long or desired length.

 

Next WS row will be button hole row -

(WS) Row 1 - k4, yo, k2tog, k4, yo, k2tog, k3.

(RS) Row 2 - *k1, p1 ; rep from * to last st, k1.

Row 3 - k2tog, k to last 2 sts, k2tog.

Row 4 - *k1, p1 ; rep from * to last st, k1.
